Fostering inclusion and building friendships.
Our goal is to bring awareness and acceptance to children with special needs. After creating an account and filling out a quick survey, PlayPals pairs two elementary aged children from anywhere across the U.S. together, providing them with a platform to interact, learn, and have fun. With video chatting and additional features letting kids read and play puzzles with each other, we aid in building an inclusive community.
Everyone.
Besides both having an amazing friendship established, the general ed peer learns more about patience and gets more insight into people with disabilities. The special ed student helps develop their social skills and has a feeling of increased inclusion. By teaching the students while they’re young, adults are building the foundation for a more inclusive society.

A teacher or parent must sign up a student and fill out a quick survey to get to know the child better. After the form is submitted, they will be paired with a pal from around the country. They will then get a profile overview of the pal they’ve been matched with and designated call times. Further instructions will be emailed.
